This is a fest for K-Pop writers on the theme of hurt/comfort.
Round 2 will take the form of a 'what3hurts' assignment, in which you will be able to select your favourite AUs and hurt/comfort tropes and elements from a list, and be randomly given a combination of these to create a fic from.As this is a fest for any K-Pop or K-pop adjacent fandoms (such as Santos Bravos or XG), we will not be assigning pairings - you are free to choose your own! But if you're stuck between a few we are happy to help with that too.You may also self-prompt by selecting or writing in the tropes/au that suit your specific self-prompt idea.Please check the rules for what is allowed in the fest, and the faq for more information on hurt/comfort.

1. Please do not write about real life minors in your works or prompts in any way, for example, underage members of K-Pop groups. Do not involve any fictional minors in NSFW prompts or fics.2. If you are a minor yourself, please do not write NSFW content.3. The crucial rule of this fest is that your fics must be within the hurt/comfort theme. You can find some examples of content that falls into that topic on the FAQ page. Please do not submit hurt/no comfort or comfort/no hurt, but you are free to decide the ratio of hurt to comfort otherwise. If your work contains dark themes, please tag appropriately!The mods retain the right to remove from the collection works that go against the rules laid out above.

What does Hurt/Comfort include?

According to Fanlore, Hurt/comfort is a fanwork genre that involves the physical pain or emotional distress of one character, who is cared for by another character. It may also be called 'whump', which is usually focused on physical injury/pain.
Common tropes include injury, sickfic, characters in trouble/peril, characters undergoing emotional or physical distress, etc. This is accompanied by another character/s providing comfort, during or after the hurt.You can find some examples of hurt/comfort prompts at the links listed below.
